:: Being a disrespected female MC has to be one of the hardest places to be
in the music business. Without lifting her shirt,
JEAN GRAE a/k/a What
What has finally been able to release her album courtesy of new west-coast indie
Third Earth. A long-time favorite of the
Herbaliser, Grae's
slightly-lisped, staccato and melodic delivery is instanly recognizable and
very, very good for your ears. Also, she is from Brooklyn. And in the
case of the MC, that's the quivalent of Knighthood. DJ Nick Follett has the
time. An whomever it may be, the opening DJ will stonk it. [OUT 8/6]
:: 9pm - 10:30pm: TBA
