Longtime Boston-based guitarist CHRIS
BROKAW has maintained a consistancy in his work one could call sonorous. Now
Chris follows such names as Alan
Licht, Marc Ribot and Sue Garner in releasing a fluid, modern solo
recording, reinterpeting the rock and avantgarde conventions he helped
define and perpetuate. His subtle approach and style keep his music sounding
fresh and new, but not alien. To call-attention to the release of his new CD, we
invited him and his friends down to DJ. Lucky for us, they accepted.
